MARJORIE  (Wells)  SOLLARS

 

Tampico: - Marjorie Sollars, 83, 302 N. Main, died Sunday evening at CGH Medical Center.

 

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Garland Funeral Home in Tampico, Rev. John Atherton, pastor of United Methodist Church in Walnut, officiating. Burial will be in Tampico Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Garland Funeral Home in Tampico.

 

Mrs. Sollars was born April 3, 1906, the daughter of Charles and Nettie Wells. She married Barney Sollars, January 1, 1928 and he died in 1963.  She was employed at the Tampico Post Office for 30 years, retiring 13 years ago. She was a member of the Tampico Wa-Tan-Ya Club.

 

She is survived by one son, Ronald Rank, Sterling, two granddaughters and eight great grandchildren, one brother Irvin Wells, Sterling.

 

She was preceded in death by two brothers and one great grandson.
