ARDEN H. BROWN
Tampico: Arden H. Brown, 71, Rte 1, died Saturday at CGH Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Garland Funeral Home, Walnut. Burial in Yorktown Cemetery.
Mr. Brown was born June 15, 1917 in Yorktown Township, the son of Lynn and Martha Humphrey Brown. He married Bessie Wilson Dec. 29, 1941 in Missouri. She survives. He was a member of Hooppole United Methodist Church, the Masonic Lodge 886 and the Sterling Moose Lodge.
He is survived by two sons, Steve, Harmen; Ronald, Silvis; a daughter Mrs. Nim (Sally) Scanlan, Rock Falls; three grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren, one brother, John, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
He was preceded by one brother.
