Services Set For Mrs. J. Woolums

 

Prophetstown: - Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita Woolums, 38, who passed away Tuesday at the Moline Lutheran Hospital, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Congregational Church, the Rev. A. Dean Lundstrom will officiate, with burial in Leon Cemetery.

 

Friends may call at the Gadner Chapel Thursday evening between 7 and 9 p.m.

 

Juanita Margaret Woolums was born May 18, 1929 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of William L. and Grace (Paschal) Taber. She was educated in the Prophetstown Elementary and High School, graduating in 1947.  She married James J. Woolums in October 1949 at the Prophetstown Congregatonal Church. She lived in the quad-cities since her marriage. She was a member of the Congregational Church.

 

She is survived by her father; son, Jay and daughter, Jill, both at home, one brother, Nelson Taber of Rochester; one sister, Mrs. Roland Dale (Lois) Kiner of Prophetstown.

 

She was preceded by her mother, husband and one son, David.

Rites Conducted For Mrs. Juanita Woolums

 

Prophetstown: - Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita Woolums, age 38, who passed away Tuesday at the Moline Lutheran Hospital were held at the First Congregational Church of Prophetstown.  The Rev. A. Dean Lundstrom officiated for the services which were held Friday at 2 p.m.  Mr. Ellen Dingman served as the organist for the services.

 

Burial was in the Leon Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Willard Redman, Dean Hanse, Art Egert, Forest Lyon, J. B. Reichard Jr., Robert Ackeberg.

 

In charge of the lovely floral tributes were Mrs. Dick Sherer, Mrs. Art Egert, Mrs. Robert Ackeberg and Mrs. Elmer Butler
