Clifford R. Wildman Dies In Belvidere

 

Prophetstown: - Clifford Ray Wildman, 77, of Prophetstown, a carpenter by trade, passed away Saturday afternoon in the Highland Hospital, Belvidere.

 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 21:30 p.m. in the Gardner Funeral Chapel, Prophetstown, the Rev. Paul Olson officiating, with burial in Riverside Cemetery.

 

Friends may call at the funeral home tonight.  Masonic services will be held at the home at 8:30 p.m.

 

Clifford Wildman was born Feb. 23, 1889, in Yorktown Township, the son of Henry W. and Lily Griswold Wildman. He was educated in the Prophetstown rural and high school, and lived in Prophetstown since his marriage.  He married Charlietta Santee of Prophetstown, Feb. 20, 1913 in Morrison. He was a member of the First Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge, OES and the White Shrine.

 

He is survived by two sons, Charles Dana Wildman of Dixon; Herbert Raymond Wildman of Toledo, Ohio; one daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Thora) Seeley of Kirkland and seven granchildren.

 

He was preceded by his parents, wife and two brothers.
