HARVE  CALVIN  HUNTER

 

Harve Calvin Hunter Dies In Nursing Home

 

Tampico: - Harve Calvin Hunter, 80, of Tampico, passed at the Round Grove Nursing Home, Morrison, after an extended illness.

 

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Schmitt Funeral Chapel, Rev. Roger Baumeister of the Methodist Church, officiating, with burial in Walnut Cemetery.

 

Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.

 

Harve Hunter was born June 12, 1886 in Butler, Ky., the son of Fredrick and Martha Barnhill Hunter. He was educated in the Illinois schools and lived in Tampico since 1935. He married Nancy  Ellen Weems in Xenia. He was a member of the Tampico Methodist Church.

 

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lowell (Golda) Whitver of Walnut, Mrs. Warren (Ruby) Newman of Tampico, two granddaughters, one grandson and three sisters.

 

He was preceded by his parents, one brother, Everett, his wife in 1941, one son in infancy, one daughter, Grace in 1965.
