Harley J. Wirth, 49, Dies Of Heart Attack

 

Prophetstown: - Harley Wirth, 49, passed away suddenly Friday evening of an apparent heart attack while enroute to the hospital.

 

Funeral services will be held at the St. Catherine Catholic Church of Prophetstown Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.  The Rev. Cletus Anger will officiate with burial in St. Catherine Cemetery.

 

Friends may call at the Gardner Chapel in Prophetstown Sunday afternoon and evening and Monday afternoon and evening. The rosary will be recited Sunday and Monday evenings at 7:30.

 

Harley Joseph  Wirth was born March 14, 1917 in Lorraine Twp., the son of Fredrick and Louise Egert Wirth. He was educated in Lorraine Twp. and the Kemmis school. He married Genevieve Meier of Prophetstown on Jan. 9, 1937 in Erie. He lived in the Prophetstown area his entire life and was a farmer.  He was a member of the St. Catherine Catholic Church.

 

He is survived by his mother, wife, one son Robert of Geneseo; two daughters, Mrs. Floyd Toppert of Prophetstown and Rhonda at home; one brother, Marion of Prophetstown and four grandchildren.

 

He was preceded in death by his father.
