FORREST  C.  PRITCHARD

 

Prophetstown: - Forrest C. Pritchard, 86, 603 E. Third St., died Friday at the Prophets Riverview Center.

 

Services will be at 3 p.m. on Sunday at the Advent Christian Church in Prophetstown with the Rev. Jim Jensen, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Prophetstown. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the time of service at the church.

 

A memorial has been established to the Advent Christian Church.

 

Mr. Pritchard was born July 5, 1903 in Prophetstown, the son of William and Mattie Baker Pritchard. He married Mary Ellen Hackett on December 23, 1964 in Prophetstown. He graduated from Prophetstown High School in 1921 and attended the University of Wisconsin. He was co-owner and operator of Pritchard and Rollo Chevrolet Dealership from 1928-1949. He was also co-owner of Ace Hardware in Prophetstown from 1958-1975 as well as owning and operating farms in Prophetstown and Missoouri.

 

He is survived by his wife; two step-sons, Douglas Peterson of Prophetstown, and David Hackett, eight step-grandchildren; six step-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

 

He was preceded in death by one stepson and one brother.
