C. W.  (Chris)  DIMMIG

 

C. W. Dimmig Dies Monday

 

Walnut: - C. W. (Chris) Dimmig, 93, died late Monday afternoon at Walnut Manor Nursing Home.

 

Funeral servicses will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Ross Funeral Home in Walnut.  Burial will be in

Walnut Cemetery. Visitation will be after 7 p.m. Tuesday.

 

C. W. Dimmig was born March 22, 1881 in Dillon, Ill., the son of Frederick and Katrina Woerner Dimmig.  He married Emma E. Suchert on Nov. 29, 1916.

 

Survivors include his widow; three daughters, Mrs. Viola Foote of Broomfield, Colo., Mrs. Betty Renner of Walnut and Mrs. Lois Johnson of Elkhorn, Wis., five sons, Willard Dimmig of Rock Falls, Francis Dimmig of Milton Junction, Wis., Robert E. Dimmig, Richard C. Dimmig and Duane Dimmig, all of Walnut; 24 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one brother, John Dimmig of Dixon; and one sister, Mrs. Hannah Joschika of Dixon. 



He was preceded by his first wife Carrie in 1915, five brothers, four sisters and two grandchildren.
