KATHERINE  L.  (Kelley)  RASMUSSEN

 

Mrs. K. Rasmussen Dies Friday

 

Mrs. Katherine Rasmussen, 84, 315 W. 4th St., Sterling, died Friday afternoon at her home.

 

Visitation will be at Grennan Funeeral Home on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. with the family present.  Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.  Funeral services will be Monday.  Prayer service will be at 9 a.m. at the funeral home and Mass of the Resurrection will be at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sterling.  Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Tampico.

 

Katherine L. Kelley was born June 30, 1890 in Tampico, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Kelley.  She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Sterling and the Altar and Rosary Society.

 

Survivors include two sons, Leonard Rasmussen of Bena, Minn., and Vernon L. Rasmussen of Morris;  one daughter, Mrs. Bertha Hess of Rock Falls; three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

 

She was preceded by four sisters, two brothers and one son.
