MARY  JULIETTE  (Resberg) COOPER   ANDERSON

 

Mary Anderson Rites Saturday

 

Tampico: - Mary Juliette Anderson, 57, rural Tampico, died Thursday morning at her home.

 

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Tampico Baptist Church with the Rev. Alan Waisanen officiating. Burial will be in Yorktown Cemetery.  Friends may call after 7 p.m. Friday at the Schmitt Funeral Home in Tampico.  Memorials may be directed to Tampico Baptist Church.

 

Mary Anderson was born May 19, 1917, the daughter of Oscar and Violet Resberg.  She attended Yorktown schools.  On May 19, 1934, she married Virgil Cooper.  On Sept. 11, 1946 she married Harold E. Anderson at Princeton.  She was a member of Tampico Baptist Church and had served as treasurer of the Mission Fund for many years.

 

Survivors include her husband, two sons, Wayne Cooper, Tampico, and David Anderson, at home; one brother Ronald Resberg, Milan and four grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her first husband and one son, Leland Cooper, and one brother.

 

(obit says she was born May 19 1934 .... which doesn't correspond with her age so I changed it to May 19, 1917 !)

Tampico: - Funeral servicses for Mary J. Anderson were held Saturday at the Tampico Baptist Church at 2 p.m.    Pastor Alan Waisanen officiated.  Organist was Mrs. Maynard Peterson, accompanied by soloist Mrs. Fred South.

 

Flowers were cared for by Mrs. Wilbert Gentz, Mrs. Robert Nuelle and Hillcrest Greenhouse.

 

Interment was in Yorktown Cemetery with Elvin Lindquist, Fred Blackert Jr., DeWayne Gerlach, Paul Kaiser, Wilbert Gentz and Maynard Peterson serving as casketbearers.
