Miss Nina Ruck, 86, Of Tampico Dies

 

Tampico: - Miss Nina Alberta Ruck, 86, of Tampico, died Sunday morning in Colonial Acres Rest Home, Rock Falls, after an extended illness.

 

Friends may call at the Schmitt Chapel after seven o'clock this evening.  Funeral rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Schmitt Chapel by the Rev. Raymond Good, pastor of the Tampico United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Tampcio Memorial Cemetery.  A memorial has been established to the Heart Fund.

 

Nina Alberta Ruck was born near Thomas, Ill., June 15, 1884, the daughter of Fred and Mary Moon Ruck. She was educated in the rural Tampico schools and Dixon College. She taught in grade schools in the Tampico vicinity for several years. She had lived in the Tampico area her entire lifetime and was a member of the Tampico United Methodist Church.  Miss Ruck was active in church work and served as primary superintendent more than 50 years at the Tampico United Methodist Church.

 

Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Mabel Denison of Tampico and two cousins.
