CLIFFORD  EUGENE  MORSE

Rites of Clifford Morse Held at Leon

Prophetstown, Ill., Oct. 1 - (Special) - The funeral of Clifford Eugene Morse was held at Leon at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon, the services being conducted in the Leon M.E. Church by the Rev. Walter Morrison.

Mr. Morse was a former resident of this community and  several years ago went to Starbuck, Manitoba, Canada, where he passed away at the age of 67 years and 7 months on the 28th of September, after a long and lingering illness.

Mr. Morse was  a brother of Mrs. D. L. Woodard, Prophetstown.  He also has two daughters, Mrs. Trautwein and Mrs. Wilson, of Morrison, a son Vernon, of Lyndon, and a son Roy of this place, besides a son and daughter in Canada.

Burial was made in Leon where others of the family are buried.
