DIED AFTER LONG ILLNESS

MRS. ROBERT FULLERTON WAS LAID  AT REST TUESDAY AFTERNOON


Funeral services for the late Mrs. Robert Fullerton were held at the late home at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon and at the Methodist church at 2:30, Rev. J. C. Weir, pastor of the Christan church, had charge of the service and used as his text John 14:1-2 and Corinthians 15; 55. Two hymns, "Sweet Peace, the Gift of God's Love" and  "God Will Take Care of You" were sung by Mrs. Hattie Russell and Mrs. J. M. Conroy. Mrs. R. F. Woods accompanied at the piano. 

Mrs. Fullerton passed away Saturday after a long illness. She had been confined to a wheel chair for twelve years and bedfast for the past eight months. 

Burial was in the Tampico cemetery with six nephews acting as pall bearers. They were Floyd Howlett of Sheffield, Leonard Howlett Portland, Tracy Fullerton and Charles Emery of Prophetstown, Henry Johnson of Tampico and Hermie Thompson of Manilus. 

The services were attended by a large number of relatives, neighbors and friends and the floral offerings were many and beautiful. 

Those present from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Heintzelman and family, Mrs. Myrtle Newell and family and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Heintzelman and family of Joliet; Asa Heintzelman of Pasadena, Califor.; Mr. and Mrs. Simon Newell and family of Bensonville; Charles Emery and Mr. and Mrs. Tracy Fullerton of Prophetstown; Mr. and Mrs. John Howlett, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Heintzelman and family and Mrs. George Howlett of Geneseo; Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Morse of Sterling. 

OBITUARY 

Esther Ann Howlett Fullerton, daughter of John and Rhuhama Howlett was born in Fairfield township, Bureau county, Illinois, on Nov. 3, 1864 and passed away at her home in Gold township on August 4, 1934, at the age of 64 years, 9 months and 1 day. 

She leaves to mourn her loss her husband and six children, James Newell of Crawfordsville, Ind., Simon Newell of Bensonville, Ill., Frank, Roy and Asa Heintzelman and Mrs. Myrtle Newell of Joliet, Ill.; also three brothers, George and Frank Howlett of Tampico and Oliver Howlett of Canada; three sisters, Mary Johnson and Minnie rogers of Tampico and Mrs. Patience Emery of Prophetstown; twenty-one grandchildren and four great grandchildren.****end of obit*****
