Harold Hansen, 58, Dies In Hospital
 
Prophetstown: - Harold Hansen, 58, Prophetstow, passed away this morning in Sterling Community General Hospital. He farmed in the Hooppole community, moving to Prophetstown in February of this year.
 
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Zion United Methodist Church, the Rev. John Osborn officiating, with burial in Tampico Memorial Cemetery.
 
Friends may call at the Gardner Chapel Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.  A memorial has been established for the Zion United Methodist Church of Hooppole.
 
Harold Hansen was born March 29, 1911 in Fairfield township, the son of Hans and Alfreda (Anderson) Hansen. He was reared and educated in the Jackson Street Grade School and Prophetstown High School. He married Viola May Weidel of Sterling on Feb. 22, 1933.  He was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church of Hooppole and Masonic Lodge of Hooppole.
 
He is survived by his widow, three daughters, Mrs. John (Lolabelle) Lorio of Rutherford;  Mrs. Roger (Beverly) Dahlin of Cicero;  Mrs. Roger (Vicki) Leonard of Charlottesville, Va., and seven grandchildren.
 
He was preceded by his parents and one brother.
