Obsequies Sunday For Henry Meier, 61, Of Portland Township
 
Prophetstown: - Funeral services for Henry Meier, 61, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Gardner chapel, Prophetstown, with the Rev. Carl A. Bengtson, pastor of the First Lutheran church, officiating.  Committal wil be in Riverside Cemetery, Prophetstown.  He passed away Friday at the home in Portland township.
 
Mr. Meier was born in Livingston County, Oct. 8, 1889, the son of Franz and Anna Hagedern Meier.  He attended the Benton Street school.  He was baptized to the Lutheran faith.  He never married.
 
Surviving are four brothers, Folley, Portland township, Fred, Frank and August, Prophetstown, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Siebens, Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Ernest (Hannah) Brown, Prophetstown.
 
Preceding him in death were his parents, four brothers, Will, John, Hiram and Ernest, and one sister Louise Sellers.
