Mrs. Lenola Neumann Passes Following Short Illness
 
Prophetstown: - Mrs. L. Lenola Neumann, 46, passed away at Moline Lutheran Hospital, Monday evening, following three weeks illness.

She was born July 10, 1919, in Atkinson, the daughter of Robert J. and Elna Allen Hamilton. She attended Geneseo high school and Rock Island business college.
 
She married George Neumann of Geneseo March 9, 1942, in Atkinson. They moved to Prophetstown in 1944.   She was a member of the First Methodist Church; past matron of Minerva chapter, OES; and a member of the Portland Club.
 
She is survived by one daughter, Nancy Neumann, Moline; two sisters, Mrs. Ed (LaFaun) Storm, Geneseo; Mrs. Eugene (Laureen) Schehl, Atkinson. 
 
She was preceded by her parents and her husband in 1965.
 
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the First Methodist Church with the Rev. Paul Olson officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Geneseo.
 
Friends may call at the Gardner Funeral Chapel Wednesday afternoon and evening.  A memorial to the First Methodist Church has been established.
