LENA  EVA  (Forward)  GLASSBURN 

Mrs. Lena Glassburn Succumbs Sunday 

Tampico: - Lena Eva Glassburn, 85, died Sunday afternoon at Morrison Hospital. She was born near Yorktown, Ill., on March 5, 1883, the daughter of Albert and Fannie Greenman Forward.  She received her education in the Tampico Schools and was married to Fred B. Glasssburn on Sept. 20, 1905 at Tampico. She lived in the Tampico vicinity all of her life. 

She was a member of the Tampico United Methodist Church, Royal Neighbors of America, and past member of the Order of the Eastern Star. 

She is survived by three sons, Stanley Glassburn, Stitzer, Wis.;  Donald Glassburn, Rock Falls; and Neil Glassburn, Williams, Ariz., 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; one brother, George Forward, Rock Falls; one sister, Mrs. Ethel C. Forward, Tampico, and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded by her husband, one son in infancy and three sisters.  

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Schmitt Chapel in Tampico. Burial will be in Tampico Memorial Cemetery

Friends may call at the Schmitt Chapel after 2 p.m. Tuesday.  A memorial has been established.
