MARY  I.  (Hein)  KILROY

Mrs. Mary I. Kilroy Dies At Home Monday 

Mrs. Mary I. (Minnie) Kilroy, 84, of 306 E. 3rd St., Rock Falls, died late Monday afternoon in her home.  

Prayer services will be held at 9:15 a.m. Thursday in the Wheelock-Allen Funeral Home, Rock Falls and requiem mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Morrison.  The Rev. William Joffe of St. Mary's Morrison and the Rev. William Boland of St. Patrick's Church, Dixon, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Tampico. 

Friends may call at the Wheelock-Allen Funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, where a rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday.  A memorial in Mrs. Kilroy's memory has been established to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Morrison. 

Mrs. Kilroy was born Dec. 18, 1886, the daughter of G. A. and Mary Dawson Hein at Clinton, Iowa. She was united in marriage to H. Earl Kilroy Jan. 18, 1911 in the St. Mary's Catholic Church at Tampico.  They lived their entire married life in Whiteside County, farming for many years and then resided in Morrison for 30 years.  She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society of Morrison. 

Mrs. Kilroy is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Alfred (Alice Mae) Paschal of Rock Falls with whom she made her home, Mrs. Frank (Bernice) Mack of Shannon and Mrs. Ramond F. (Irma) Hoy of Sterling; one sister, Mrs. Francis (Iva) Brightman of Erie; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  She was preceded by her husband, H. Earl Kilroy in 1940; one daughter, Ruth Marie in 1913; three brothers and one sister.
