EDW  T.  EGAN 

Edw. T. Egan Dies Monday 

Deer Grove: - EDW.  T.  EGAN - 82, a retired farmer of Deer Grove, died at his home on Monday.  Funeral services will be held at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Grennan Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tampico.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Tampico. Visitation will be from 2 until 9 p.m Tuesday at the funeral home, with the rosary at 7:30 p.m. 

Edw. T. Egan was born Feb. 11, 1892 in Hamilton Township in Lee County, the son of Michael and Ellen Ford Egan. He was married to the former Blanche Scully who preceded him in death.  He was an honorary lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus Council 662 in Sterling. 

He is survived by one son, Roland Egan of Deer Grove;  two daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Genevieve) Devine of Harmon and Mrs. Leo (Helen) Miller of Sterling;  one sister, Sister Mary Sara Egan of Evanston;  one brother, James Egan of Salt Lake City, Utah;  14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
