Charles E. Miller Of Harmon Dies 

Charles E. Miller, 86, RR 2, Harmon, a farmer for many years in the Harmon area, died Thursday morning in Rock Falls Colonial Acres Rest home.  

There is visitation from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Grennan Funeral Home with a rosary at 7:30 p.m.  A memorial has been established.  Funeral rites will be held Saturday morning with a 10:30 prayer service in the Grennan Funeral Home and Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o'clock in St. Andrew's Catholic Church. The burial will be in

St. Mary's Cemetery, Tampico. 

Charles E. Milleer was born April 17, 1888 in the Harmon area, son of James and Catherine McGuire Miller. He was united in marriage to Julia E. Burden, Nov. 3, 1915 in St. Mary's Church, Tampico. They farmed their entire married life in the Harmon area. 

Surviving are three sons and four daughters, George and Paul of Sterling, Hugh of Harmon, Mrs. James (Rita Anne) Goetzmann of Rock Island, Mrs. Lynn (Josephine) Kiser of Walnut, Mrs. Frank (Theresa) Klocke of Rock Falls and Mrs. Donald (Marian) Place of Monroe, Wis., and one brother, Tom Miller of Ft. Collins, Colo. There are 34 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Preceding in death were his wife and one son John, a United States Marine, killed in World War II.
