 MRS.  W.  L.  QUAINTANCE 

Death Saturday of Mrs. W. L. Quaintance At home In Tampico

 Tampico, Ill. - May 9 -- (Special) -- Mrs. W. L. Quantance, long a highly esteemed resident of Tampico, passed away Saturday afternoon at 5 o'clock after a long illness.  Funeral services were conducted by Rev. I. A. Woodrow this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock in the Methodist Church and burial was in the Tampico Cemetery. 

Mrs. Quaintance was 66 years of age and most of her life was spent in this community. She was active for many years in the work of the Methodist church and was prominent in the Ladies' Aid Society.  She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Anna Murray of Waucoma, Iowa, and five sons, Otto Quaintance of Tampico, and Harry, Clarence, Ralph and Ernest Quaintance, all of Chicago, beside a multitude of friends.
