Cecil W. Frank Of Tampico Dies, Rites On Sunday Afternoon 

Frank, 57, of Tampico, died Thursday afternoon in Community General Hospital, Sterling. 

Funeral rites will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in St. Paul Lutheran Church of Yorktown with the Rev. Warren Weeg, pastor in Sterling, officiating. The burial will be in the Yorktown Cemetery. 

Friends may call at the Schmitt Chapel from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.  Memorials may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church of Yorktown. 

Cecil William Frank was born Sept. 27, 1914 in Tampico Township, the son of William J. and Emma Frank. He received his education in the Tampico schools and was united in marriage to Caroline Lou, Aug. 31, 1935 in Rock Falls.  He had lived in the Tampico vicinity his entire lifetime.  He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Yorktown and a member of the Tampico Volunteer Fire Department for 25 years. 

Surviving are his wife at home, his mother Mrs. Emma Frank of Rock Falls, one son and two daughters, Glenn Frank of Tampico, Mrs, William F. (Bendetta) Schauff of Harmon and Betty Frank of Chicago and five grandchildren.  He also leaves one sister and two brothers, Mrs. Neil (Gyneth) Partridge of Rock Falls, Kenneth Frank of RFD Tampico and William G Frank of Milledgeville.  His father preceded in death in 1956.
