OBITUARY NOTICES
MALLORY HULL
PROPHETSTOWN – Mallory  Hull, 68, died early this morning at Community General Hospital, Sterling.
Private graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Riverside Cemetery, Prophetstown, with the Rev. Bruce Janes, pastor of the United Methodist Church, officiating. There will be no visitation.
Mallory Hull was born on Dec. 16, 1914 in Kansas City, Mos., the son of Harvey C. and Maysie (Hill) Hull. He graduated from Prophetstown High School in 1832 and attended Illinois Wesleyan University in 1933-34 where he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity.
On May 29, 1942 he married Laura Hellier of Prophetstown in the Hollywood Presbyterian Church, Hollywood, Calif. They lived in Hollywood until 1946 when they returned to Prophetstown. He was employed as credit manager for the Elipse [sic - Eclipse] Lawn Mower company until 1960 after which he worked for General Electric Company, Morrison, as an expediter. He is a member of the Prophetstown LIONS Club, the Loyal Order of the Moose, Sterling and a member of the board of directors of the Prophetstown-Lyndon Alumni Association.
Survivors include his wife, one daughter, Cynthia Holldorf, Prophetsown, one son, Douglas M. Hull, Prophetstown and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
