GERTRUDE  L.  BLACKBURN

Miss Gertrude Blackburn Dies Sunday; Funeral Services on Tuesday

Miss Gertrude L. Blackburn, died Sunday at 5 a.m. at 1111 Second Avenue, Sterling, after an extended illness.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Trouth's Funeral Home, Rev. James McKelvey, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating.  Burial will be in Tampico Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call.

Miss Blackburn was born in Lincoln, Ill., Oct. 11, 1884, and spent the greater part of her life in the around Sterling. She leaves one sister, Miss Lulu Blackburn, and two brothers, Lawrence of California and Clifford L. Blackburn of Grand Rapids, Mich.  Preceding are her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Blackburn, and one sister.
