HULDA  MOON

Mrs. Hulda Moon, 73, Dies Saturdy Night

Walnut: - Mrs. Hulda Moon, 73, passed away Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Linton Nursing Home, Sterling, where she had been a patient for the last four months.  Funeral services will be conducted at the Ross Funeral Home in Walnut Tuesday at 2 p.m., the Rev. G. E. Burton of Geneseo officiating. The committal will be in Greenville-Fairfield Cemetery.

Mrs. Moon was born April 3, 1876 in Stockholm, Sweden, and was brought to the United States by her parents when she was a child. She lived in Fairfield Township, Bureau County, until her marriage, and later in Chicago and New York. She had spent much time in the home of her niece, Mrs. Harold Abraham.

Surviving are one son, Richard, of New York; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Fred Peterson of Clinton, Ia., and three brothers, Fred of Chicago, August of Prophetstown, and Frank of Tampico.
