Funeral Services for Thomas F. Milligan

Funeral services for Thomas F. Milligan, 76, who died at 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, in Jane Lamb Hospital at Clinton, Ia., after a short illness were held at 130 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22, in the Snell Funeral Home, Clinton, Ia.  The Rev. Charles S. Hempstead, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiated.

Hymns were sung by Mrs. Mark Reitzel and Mrs. Simon Mathew of Sterling, accompanied by the organist, Miss Marguerite Hypes.  Burial was in the Tampico Cemetery.  The pallbearers were  Harold and Leverett Mansfield, George Burks, Lee Milligan, Mark Reitzel and August Pearson.

Among those attending from out of town were Lloyd Milligan, Iowa City;  Mr. and Mrs. Carl Frerichs, Mr. and Mrs. George Burks, Earl Burks, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Reitzel, Mr. and Mrs. Simon Mathew, Sterling; Mr. and Mrs. Lester Kelsey, Rock Falls; Miss Margaret Milligan, Chicago;  J. H. Milligan, Gary, Ind., Mr. and Mrs. Harold Mansfield, Peoria; Mrs. Elsie Milligan, Fred Milligan, Clinton, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. Harold McKenzie, Erie; Mr. and Mrs. William Wetzell, Rupert Wetzell, Tampico; Mrs. Ellen Totz, Mt. Carroll.
