JAMES  LEAHY



James Leahy, Formerly of Deer Grove, Passes



James (Dick) Leahy, formerly of Deer Grove, passed away suddenly at 9 a.m. Monday in Dixon where he had made his home the past year. He had been in failing health for several months.



The body rests at the Meyer Funeral Home where friends may call. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral rites are tentatively arranged for Wednesday in St. Mary's Church, Tampico, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Tampico.



Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Catherine O'Rourke and Mrs. John Harshamn of Sterling, Mrs. Emma Chrissey of Lake Park, Ia., and Mrs. Ellen Bolton of Dixon. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel and Phil, and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Wilcox, Mrs. Julia Schweinsbeig and Mrs. Hattie Peterson.
