BEN  KERBER
 
Morrison: - Ben Kerber, 91, formerly of 1508 E. 4th St., Sterling, died Wednesday morning in Pleasant View Nursing Home, Morrison.
 
Funeral services will be held on Friday morning at 10 a.m. at the Allen Funeral home, Sterling, with Rev. Eldor Windhorn, pastor of the Rock Falls Immanuel Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Yorktown Cemetery in Yorktown. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5 to 8 p.m.
 
Ben Kerber was born on May 23, 1893 in Tampico, the son of John and Minnie Frank Kerber.  He was united in marriage to Beatrice Bader on Jan. 1, 1921.  She preceded him in death on July 11, 1976. He had been employed by the Eureka Body Company prior to his retirement.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, six brothers and three sisters.
