ROLAND  F.  ROSENE
 
New Haven, Ind. - Roland F. Rosene, 61, New Haven, Indiana, died Tuesday, Sept. 11 at the V.A. Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind., after a short illness.
 
Funeral services were held at the Hockemeyer Funeral Home, Harlan, Indiana, on Thursday, Sept. 13,  Burial was in the IOOF Cemetery, New Haven, Ind.  Military services were conducted by the New Haven Legion Post 330 of which he was a member. 
 
A memorial has been established and may be sent to Michael Rosene, 1707 Folsome Lane, Fort Wayne, Ind., 46815.
 
Roland Rosene was born on Oct. 15, 1922 in Tampico, the son of Harry and Fannie Karn Rosene. He was a veteran of World War II in the occupational forces in Europe. He was retired from International Harvester after 25 years.  In 1955 he was married to Claire Ward of Morrison.
 
Surviving are two sons, Michael, Fort Wayne, Ind., and Mark, Woodburn, Ind.; one daughter, Marcia, Bloomington, Ind.;  two brothers, Clifford, Tampico, and Eugene, Sterling; three sisters, Mrs. Berenece Dersham, Walnut, Mrs. Lester (Thelma) Eilers, Rock Falls, and Mrs. Eugene (Beulah) Brinkman, Sterling.
 
He was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and his parents.
