JAMES ORLOWSKI - OF 1809 First Ave., Sterling, died Friday evening at the CGH Medical Center. There will be joint funeral services with his mother at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rock Falls, with the Rev. Dennis L. Heaney and Rev. Ruth Hansen officiating. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the Blair Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery.  A memorial has been established.

Mr. Orlowski was born Feb. 23, 1930 in Sterling, the son of Frank and Maude Hillerns Orlowski. He was educated in the Sterling  Schools.  He was a retired truck driver and a veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Sandra Suscess, Ark.; Mrs. Susan Hurless, Sterling; Mrs. Sharon Bass, Sterling; one son, Scott, Champaign; three brothers, Francis and Raymond, both of Sterling; Merle, Prophetstown; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild.  He was preceded by his parents, one son, one grandson.
