HATFIELD, Wis. — Kathryn Joyce (Eilers) David, 70, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011, surrounded by family. She was born on Jan. 24, 1941, in Sterling, Ill., the daughter of Raymond and Orel (Draper) Foy.

Kathryn was an avid sewer and knitter and will be remembered by the baby afghans she made for everyone. She loved wildlife and spent many days feeding her deer. Her life was her Shadow dog and her kitty, Nicole. She enjoyed the visits from family and friends. She took pride in being a Re-born Christian.

After 25 years of service with Land’s End in Dodgeville, Wis., she and her husband of 25 years, Dennis (Lou), retired to Hatfield. But most of all, she loved to watch her Nascar and her Green Bay Packers win.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis O. David; her children, Kristy Eilers (Danny Cantrell) of Silvis, Kerry (Julie) Eilers of Spring Valley and Kelli (Mark) Vinje of DeForest, Wis.; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Francis Sawyer of Morrison. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Clare Foy.

A memorial service will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Ryan Funeral Home, Windsor/DeForest Chapel, 6924 Lake Road, DeForest, Wis., with Pastor Wayne Kennedy presiding. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until the time of service.

A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Spring Valley.
