Homer D. Gudgell of Chicago Dies, Burial Saturday

Tampico: - Homer D. Gudgell, 57, of Chicago, passed away Tuesday at the Hines Hospital in Hines, Ill.  Funeral services are being held in Chicago, following which the body will be brought to the Parent Chapel, Tampico.

Friends may call at the chapel after 1 p.m. Friday. Burial will be made at 3:15 p.m. Saturday in the Fairfield-Greenville Cemetery. 

Mr. Gudgell is survived by his wife, Mrs. Helen Gudgell of Chicago and two daughters, Mrs. Frank Poppleton of San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Jack Wells of Denver, Colo.  He also leaves three brothers and three sisters, John and Mrs. Melvina Heuer of Yorktown, Milton of Kelson, Wash., William of Spokane, Wash., Mrs. Hazel Harker of Hooppole and Mrs. Mary Daleiden of Eugene, Ore.

Burial of Mrs. John Decker of Green Rock who died Wednesday, an aunt of the late Mr. Gudgell, will take place at the same time Saturday in the Fairfield-Greenville Cemetery.  The funeral rites for Mrs. Decker are being held in Green Rock.
