PROPHETSTOWN, Ill. -- Willard J. Baker, Prophetstown, died Sunday, Aug. 25, 2002, at Prophets Riverview Center, Prophetstown. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Lutheran Church, Prophetstown. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation is 9 a.m. to service time at the church. Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Prophetstown, is in charge of arrangements. He farmed all his life in the Prophetstown and Tampico area. He was born Jan. 12, 1910, in Tampico. He married Isabelle Zbinden in 1933 in Sterling. She died in 1999. Memorials may be made to Prophets Riverview Center. Survivors include two grandsons, Danny and Kevin, both of Prophetstown; and two great-grandchildren.
