Genevieve MDevine 
Genevieve MDevine, 88, of Harmon, died at Good Samaritan Society Prophets Riverview on Saturday, March 30, 2013. 
Genevieve was born Sept. 17, 1924 in Hanaman Township, the daughter of Edward and Blanche (Scully) Egan. She was a graduate of Community Catholic High School. She was united in marriage to Eugene Devine on Nov. 23, 1944. He preceded her in death on Aug. 2, 1994. 
She was a homemaker who took an active role in the farming operation. She was a member of St. Flannen's Church in Harmon where she sang in the choir and held office in the Altar & Rosary Society for many years. 
She is survived by three sons, Edward (Debbie) Devine of New Lenox, Steven (Moneta)Devine of Oregon, and Mark (Ann) Devine of Geneva; one daughter, Diana (Carl) Wade of Sterling; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; one sister, Helen Miller of Dixon; one brother, Roland Egan of Deer Grove; and numerous nieces and nephews. 
She was also preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister, Teresa Jane Egan. 
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 5 – 7 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls. Scripture service will be Tuesday at 4:30 PM at the funeral home. Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tampico with Monsignor Thomas Dzielak officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Tampico. 
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, IL, 60601.
