MABEL LORENE BRAASCH, 89 PASSES AWAY MAY 29

Mabel Lorene Braasch, 89, of  Wyanet, died at 6:15 p.m., thursday, May 29, 2014, at Liberty Village of Princeton.

She was born May 15, 1925, in Wyanet to John Henry and Mary Viol (Burell) Mercer. She married Melvin Lyle Braasch on Sept. 5, 1943, in Prienceton. He died April 22, 1991.

Survivors include a son, Melvin (Crystal Marie) Braasch of Princeton; and two grandchildren, Matthew (Caresa) /Braasch of Cortland, and Daniel (Rae Anne Lenihan) Braasch of Coal Valley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and four sisters.

She retired from Jostens, Princeton and was a member of the Good Sam's Camping Club. 

Services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, at the Grant-Johnson, Funeral Home, Princeton, the Rev. Willy Minnix officiating.

Burial was in Elm Lawn Memorial Park, Princeton.

Visitation was held one hour prior to services.

Memorials may be made to the Wyanet Rescue Squad.
