Walnut - Clyde Rosene, age 90, of Princeton, Illinois died Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Colonial Hall Rehab and Nursing Center in Princeton, IL. 
Clyde was born July 8, 1924 in Tampico, Illinois the son of Clarence and Ida M. (Newman) Rosene. He graduated from Tampico High School. Clyde was united in marriage to Miriam Pieper on January 22, 1946 in Hubbard, Iowa. He farmed all of his life. In his younger years he farmed in Tampico and then in Ohio, Illinois. He was a member of the Red Oak Methodist Church, a past board member of the Farm Bureau and a past board member of the Kasbeer Elevator. 
He is survived by his wife, Miriam; one son, Cary (Beth) Rosene of Princeton, Illinois; one daughter Marcia Heuer of Oregon, Illinois; one sister, Ethel Rosene of Ohio, Illinois; one brother, Neil (Brenda) Rosene of Springfield, Missouri; five grandchildren: Colin (Dena) and Chad (Vicki) Schmidt, Heather (Mark) Dzioba, Nathan and Hannah Rosene and seven great-grandchildren. 
He is preceded in death by both parents and one sister, Alice Underwood .
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Red Oak United Methodist Church in Walnut with Rev. Judy Giese officiating. Burial will take place at Red Oak Cemetery in Walnut. Visitation will be held Monday, March 2, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. at the Garland Funeral Home in Walnut. A memorial has been established in his memory.
