Mr. Frank L Thomas, age 95, of Prophets Good Samaritan Center in Prophetstown and formerly of Tampico, Illinois died Thursday, April 8, 1999 in CGH Medical Center, Sterling, Illinois.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 12, 1999 at 11 a.m. at the Tampico Church of Christ, with the Rev. Clarke Devore, pastor, offiiating. Burial will be in the Yorktown Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, April 11 at the GArland Funeral Home in Tampico from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Amemorial has been established in his memory to the Tampico Church of Christ.

Mr. Thomas was born on February 22, 1904 in Thomas, Illinois, the son of William and Anna Martha (Sandrock) Thomas. He was united in marriage to Audrey L. Anderson on February 22, 1925 in Thomas, Illinois. She preceded him in death  on September 26, 1989. He was a self-emplouyed carpenter, he workd in the Tampico area and also Florida. He was a member of the Tampico Church of Christ.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Keith (Leone) Newman of Tampico and Mrs. Larry (Laurel) Reiss of Erie, Illinois; eight grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one grandchild, three brothers and one sister.
