Sandra Hicks

Hicks, 43, of rural Tampico died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2004 at CGH Medical Center.

Sandra was born July 19, 1961 in Sterling, the daughter of Kelly Eugen and Lois Marie (Davis) Hicks. She was a graduate of Sauk Valley Community College and worked as a laboratory technician first at Hammond Henry Hospital, Geneseo and later at Northwestern Steel and Wire Medical Clinic, Sterling for six years. Sandra enjoyed reading, gardening, flowers, crafts woodworking and watching quarter-mile racing.

Surviving are her three sons, Kelly Joseph Hicks, Eugene Edward Pashon and Caleb Allen Pashon, all of Yorktown, her significant other and companion, Ed Pashon, her sisters, Sharon Hicks of Charleston, S.C.; Joan Hassell of Rock Falls and Tracy (Will) Schaffer of Lyndon, her brothers, Kelly Russell Hicks of Rock Falls and Gregory Eugene (Jodi) Hicks of Polo; Two nieces and seven nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A private family gathering will take place. There is no visitation. Arrangements were completed by McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory, Rock Falls.
