ALLEN J. DORNBUSH, 92, of Fulton, IL, died Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at his home.

Allen was born August 10, 1923, in Fulton, IL, to Jacob J. and Anna (Medema) Dornbush. He was educated in the Lockhart School of rural Whiteside County. Allen married Marie L. Isenhart on May 11, 1946 in Fulton, IL. She died May 12, 2007. Allen engaged in farming on the family farm, which is located in the Garden Plain area of Whiteside County. He served as Garden Plain Township Road Commissioner and was also employed as a truck driver for Garden Plain Feed Service and Musel Ag. Allen was a member of the Trinity Reformed Church in Fulton where he served as elder and deacon and was currently a member of the First Reformed Church in Fulton. Allen enjoyed truck driving, bowling, playing baseball in his younger years, spending time outdoors, and going to farm sales.

Survivors include four daughters, Judith (Ken) Seidel of Parachute, CO; Linda Munn of Bartlett, TN; Carole (James) Isenhart-Johnson of Fulton, IL; and Nora (Curtis) Gigl of Chebanse, IL; two sons, John Dornbush of Fulton, IL and Steve (Dottie) Dornbush of Fulton, IL; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marie; one daughter, Kathleen Whiting; one grandson, James Dornbush; two sisters, Pauline Wiersema and Margaret Bertramsen.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:30 AM Friday, November 27, 2015 at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home

CO-OFFICIATING: Rev. Edie Lenz - Pastor: First Reformed Church - Fulton, IL and Ken Renkes - Director of Congregational Care: Ebenezer Reformed Church - Morrison, IL

VISITATION: 9:00 AM until the time of service Friday, November 27, 2015 at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home

INTERMENT: Fulton Township Cemetery - Fulton, IL
