Michael G. Kreassig, 50, of Prophetstown, died peacefully Wednesday, November 25, 2015, at Winning Wheels in Prophetstown surrounded by his loving family. 

Born March 2, 1965, in Dubuque, Iowa he was the son of Melvin and Martha (Keohen) Kreassig. 

He enjoyed watching Iowa sports on TV and listening to music. 

He is survived by his father, Melvin Kreassig, of Dubuque; his mother, Martha Kieler of Washington, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Karla (Tom) Kreassig-Glover and Suzanne (Mike Farrar) Kreassig all of Washington; his paternal grandmother, Margerie Kreassig of Dubuque; 2 nephews and a niece. 

He was preceded in death by a brother Eric, in infancy; his maternal grandparents Jean and Gerald Keohen, a nephew and a niece. 

Graveside services will be at 11 AM Monday in Riverside Cemetery, Prophetstown. A memorial has been established in his memory to Winning Wheels, 701 E. 3rd Street, Prophetstown, Illinois 61277. Arrangements are through the McDonald Funeral Home in Prophetstown.
