OBITUARY

Charles Noon, Jr. was born July 20, 185,5 in Warwickshire, England; died at his father's house in Tampico Jan. 9, 1901 at 4 o'clock a.m., at the age of 45 years, 5 months, 19 days. With his father's family, he arrived at Tampico July 10, 1874, where he resided until his death. When an infant he was baptized into the Episcopalian church. His motto was, "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you." He was a quiet and gentle nature, loved by all who know him, and a hard and constant worker until about ten years previous to his death, when his health failed him, and he has been a quiet sufferer until he peacefully passed away. He leaves a father, mother, six brothers, and six sisters, and a host of friends, to mourn his death. The funeral sermon was preached in the M. E. church by Rev. Bernreuter and the remains were laid at rest in the Tampico cemetery.
