PROPHETSTOWN – Nathan G. Wolf, 72, of Prophetstown, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2017, at his home.
 
Nathan was born Feb. 21, 1945, in Sterling, the son of Walter and Louise (Harris) Wolf. He married Elaine Johnson June 23, 1967, in Rock Falls. She preceded him in death on May 10, 2015. 
 
Nathan was employed with the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 25 for 42 years. He enjoyed fishing and traveling.
 
Survivors include one daughter, Vicki (Corey) Willett of Sterling; three sons, Kenneth (Cris) Wolf of Princeton, Indiana, Troy (Kim) Wolf of China, Michigan, and Chris Wolf of Streator; one sister, Lynda (Wayne) Endress of Morrison; and six grandchildren, Raven, Joshua, Kira, Devyn, Katie and Nathan.
 
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; and two brothers, Roger Wolf and Jeff Wolf.
 
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at McDonald Funeral Home in Prophetstown. 
 
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Prophetstown.
 
A memorial fund has been established to the Prophetstown Fire Department.
