Mrs. Claude T. Stevens Dies Wednesday Morning

Mrs. Claude T. Stevens, 67, died at 8 a.m.today at the home of her son, Harold, 1512 13th Ave. after a long illness.

The body was taken to the Melvin Funeral Home where friends may call after 7 tonight. Services will be Friday at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home and 2:30 p.m. in the Annawan Community Church with the Rev. Robert Rushing officiating. Burial will be in Annawan Cemetery.

Mrs. Stevens was born Oct. 10, 1886, in Annawan, daughter of Mathew and Elizabeth Locke Moon. She was married April 20, 1904, and she and her husband lived in Tampico until his death in 1940.

Surviving are one son, Harold Stevens, Sterling; a daughter, Mrs. Elwin Fordham, Walnut; and two grandchildren, Mrs. Arthur Grabeklis, Sterling, and Cpl. Neil Stiver, Ft. Knox, Ky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one stepson, a sister and a brother.
