Watson Quaintance passed away at the home of his son Otto, at the ate of 77. Levi Watson Quaintance, son of Levi and Catherine Quaintance, was born in Chester Co., Pa., in 1854. On Sept. 1, 1881, he was married to Sarah Emma Kinney of Lostant, Ill. They came in Tampico in 1889. Six children were born to this union, Anna, Otto, Harry, Clarence, Ralph, and Ernest. He was preceded in death by his wife; a sister, Mrs. Jennie Turner; one brother, T. D. Quaintance; and one great grand-child, Mildred Bradley, Mr. Quaintance lost one eye in an accident in 1913 and became totally blind in 1920.
