LENORE A. REILEY

LENORE A. REILEY, 98, of Prophetstown, IL, died Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Prophets Riverview Good Samaritan Center in Prophetstown.

Her funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 6, 2019 at the Bosma-Gibson Funeral Home in Prophetstown, with a visitation preceding the service, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Prophetstown. A memorial has been established by the family.

Lenore was born September 4, 1920 in Yorktown Township, IL, to Horace and Esther (Hanson) Landwehr. She was educated in the Hooppole, IL grade schools and was a graduate of Hooppole High School. On December 31, 1940 she married James O. Reiley in Prophetstown. He died October 29, 1964. Lenore was a hairdresser. She had also worked at the Eclipse Lawn Mower Factory in Prophetstown, and then for 20 years at General Electric Co. in Morrison, IL. She retired in 1984. After retirement she provided private healthcare to individuals in the Sterling, IL area. She attended the Advent Christian Church in Prophetstown and was a member of the Sterling Moose Lodge. Lenore enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting.

Survivors include one son, Clarence Reiley of Prophetstown; two grandchildren, Lenny (Kim) Reiley of Prophetstown and Darrick (Mandy) Reiley of Bartonville, IL; four great grandchildren, Cassie (Connor) Saad, Corrie Reiley, Conner Reiley, and James Reiley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James; one grandson, James Reiley; three sisters, Verda Milnes, Lavone Cederberg, and Avis J. Horton; two brothers, Irvin and Orville Landwehr.
