BARNEY E. SOLLARS, TAMPICO PASSES AWAY
TAMPICO - Barney Everett Sollars, 55, area farmer, died Wednesday morning in his home.
 
Mr. Sollars was born Nov. 3, 1907, the son of Leo and Florence Sollars in Tampico. He married Marjorie Wells on Jan. 1, 1929 in Sterling. He farmed south west of Tampico for a number of years, retiring five years ago to work at the McCormick Oil Company. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in /sterling.
 
Surviving are his father, Leo; his wife, Marjorie; step-mother, Arlene; one step-son,, Ronald Rank, Wheeling, Ill.; and two grandchildren
 
He was preceded in death by his mother, and one sister in infancy.
 
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p..m. in Schmidt Chapel, with the Rev. Nathon Althoff, of the Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Tampico Memorial Cemetery. 
 
Friends may call at the chapel after 2 p.m. Friday.
