Sterling - Jane Gaskill FLUCK, 94, of Sterling died Friday, Jan. 14, 2005, at CGH Medical Center. She was employed as a representative for Illinois Bell and the New York Telephone Co. prior to her retirement in 1954.

Mrs. FLUCK was born June 30, 1910 in Ohio, the daughter of Harry and Laura (Smith) GASKILL. She married Frank FLUCK on Oct. 12, 1932 in Dixon. He died Dec. 11, 1996. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Sterling. She enjoyed playing bridge.

Survivors included a sister. Evelyn Gaskill HAWKINS of Mesa, Ariz., many nieces and nephews and special friends, Sue ELY and the PAPOCCIA family.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Lucille Gaskill SMITH, and four brothers, Glenn, Leslie, Marion and Dale GASKILL.

At her request, there are no services. Arrangements were completed by Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling.
