Death Of Wm. Forward

William Forward one of the old settlers of this vicinity died Wednesday morning at 1 o'clock at the home of his son, Walter Forward near Leon after a week's illness of pneumonia. The funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Leon church.

The deceased was born seventy-seven years ago last September in New York state and came to Michigan in the early days later coming to this vicinity about 1856 and has made his home here ever since. Four children survive: Edith Teach of Lyndon, Mrs. Baird of Wiscoonsiin, Eva Richards of Leon and Walter Forward. One brother Geo. Forward an old citizen of Tampico and also two brothers in Michigan survive.
