Jerry Stewart Died Monday

Jerry Stewart of Prophetstown who formerly resided on a farm north west of here in the Luther Wheelock neighborhood, was stricken with paralysis Friday morning his left side being affected so that he has no use of his arm or leg. He was building the fire when stricken. He is seventy-two years of age and a veteran of the Civil War. Mrs. McCombs of this place went down there Saturday evening to see him. He died Monday afternoon at 5 o'clock.
