JAMES DONALD GLASSBURN, , 73 of Cazenovia WI formerly of Tampico died Saturday April 13, 2002, at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie, Sauk City, WI. Mr Glassburn was born November 17, 1928 in Tampico, the son of Donald and Mary (Callahan) Glassburn. He served in the Navy. He married Mary Jane Johnson on March 12, 1949 at St Mary's Catholic Church Tampico. She died Dec 9 1997. He was a member of St Anthony's parish, Germantown WI, Knights of Columbus, and St Anthony's Council. He valued his involvement with committee work involving future Alzheimers facilities and was an avid Cazenovia Reds baseball fan. Survivors include five daughters, Pamela K Buchner, Diana Bengry and Julie Glassburn all of Madison WI, Maribeth (Cyril) Deitelhoff of Cazenovia, WI and Kelly (Joel) Geisser of Stewartville MN; two sons, Michael J (April) Glassburn of Cazenovia WI and Dennis J (Jacaueline) Glassburn of Cross Plains WI; a daughter-in-law, Patti Glassburn of Sun Prairie WI; a brother Jack (Lois) Glassburn of Sterling; a sister , Connie (Don) Elliolt of Lake of the Ozarks, MO; 12 grandhildren; two great grandchildren; and numerous neices and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son Patrick. Burial at St Mary's Cemetery, Tampico. Garland Funeral Home, Tampico. Daily Gazette April 16, 2002
